The Hammonton Community Endowment Fund is a permanent fund that supports projects and initiatives designed to improve and preserve the future of Hammonton, New Jersey. This fund was created through the Transform South Jersey Community Heart & Soul project, which gathered input from residents on what they value most about their town.
The endowment is managed by the Community Foundation of South Jersey, a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are invested, and the principal is kept intact forever. Each year, a portion of the investment earnings is used to provide grants for worthy community projects.
